Depending on: where a person is in the pack, this could allow ovulation. If ovulation/conception occurs, around 8 days later a urine pregnancy test would be positive. So timing is everything. All birth control pills have a small failure rate of 1 or 2 %, even when taken properly. Condoms will help prevent STD's and should be used along with the pill, every time, unless in along term monogamous relationship.

Pregnancy: If you are sexually active you can get pregnant. Missing the pills can make that more likely, but even with regular pill usage the failure rate of contraception is 1 percent.
