What is the best treatment for migraine headaches?

Depends: It depends upon how often you have them. If they are only occasional then drugs like imitrex (sumatriptan) are very good at preventing a migraine if you take it very early at onset of a headache. if the headaches are very frequent then a preventive medication may be more helpful if taken every day. There are several classes of medicines to prevent migraines. Your doctor can help you decide if that is needed.
