Ive been on 0.5-1mg of xanax (alprazolam) almost daily for the last 7 months. can this cause fatigue and mild trouble thinking clearly?

Yes: Alprazolam can cause those side effects. Somtimes the side effects can be reduced or eliminated by spacing or reducing the doses. You should not reduce or disconintue this medicine without medical directioin, since withdrawal symptoms are possible.
