"Too much" Xanax (alprazolam) : Or alprazolam, a benzodiazepine, when ingested can results in sedation, confusion, impaired coordination, reduced respiratory drive, cardiopulmonary collapse, coma, and death. Xanax should be taken exactly as prescribed by ur MD. Additionally, use of Xanax can result in tolerance and addiction as well as rebound anxiety. Discuss your use of Xanax with ur prescribing MD and take only as prescribed.

This is expected...: This would be an expected side effect of taking too much. It is best to follow the directions in order to avoid adverse side effects. Within a few hours you should be feeling back to normal.
