What are potential treatments for degenerative bone disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below.: Degenerative joint disease, as the wear and tear affects the joints. Multiple options; starting with pain meds, like the nsaids, tylenol (acetaminophen) arthritis, weight reduction, daily exercises to not only keep wt down but strengthen the muscles which moves the joints, using assistive devices like a cane/stick, crutches/walker; stronger pain meds and if nothing works the surgery. Trip to a dr would help.
