Treatment Hip : If you have hip arthritis treatment options depending on the cause of the arthritis may vary. They might include a hip replacement, an osteotomy to reposition the hip, physical therapy, use of a cane, weight loss, or medication. Medications like tylenol (acetaminophen) or an anti inflammatory under a physicians guidance are helpful. Consult with your orthopaedic surgeon.

Lots: However there are many options for treatment. Medications like anti-inflammatory options like ibuprofen, naproxen, etc. Other options include synvisc/euflexxa injections to help lubricate the joint or even platelet/stem cell therapies as well. Generally these options are not covered by your insurance though. Check out regenexx.com.
