It may: Often a change in barometric pressure can affect joints. So when the pressure changes in advance of a storm, many people with osteoarthritis may register that change in pressure long before a storm is visible. For some relief, try eating anti-inflammatory foods (lots of veggies and fruits), cut down on the 'white' (sugar, flour, etc). Then give it some time.

Arthritis: For reasons unclear to me changes in barometric pressure with precipitation make underlying arthritis pain worse. My patients admit to be great weather forecasters.
