What can be the cause of easy bruisibility and why is she slow healing from bruises and wounds can this be because low levels in her blood?

BleedingFromBreeding: The clotting system in the blood is very complex and can become dysfunctional at several levels: due to diet, medications,age,inheritance,infections..you-name-it. And if this bruising has really been 'easy' i.e. due to minor bumps and/or there is bleeding elsewhere, like from the gums or nose--and slow to heal and has been going on for a long time, you need to see a doctor (maybe a hematologist)

Needs an evaluation: There are multiple causes for easy bruising. These include diseases affecting the integrity of the blood vessels, disorders affecting platelet function,disorders resulting in insufficient numbers of platelets, hereditary and acquired disorders of the coagulation system. A careful history and physical and lab tests may result in a diagnosis.If not a referral to a hematologist may be necessary.
