Don't know: I can't tell you how to convince your doctor to keep you as a patient. I can tell you that on a urine screening, there are meds that can give false positives. The way to rule out a false positive is to send the urine specimen to a lab for gas chromatography confirmation. When this happens, the lab tests for specific compounds found only when the body metabolizes marijuana.
