Foreign sensation : If your cornea or conjunctiva was scratched during examination, you would have moderately severe pain, tearing, photophobia, inability to fully open eyelid, and ocular redness. Your vision could be very blurry too, depending what part was scratched. A discharge may also result. If these symptoms are absent, but you have some irritation, try using preservative free artificial tears every 1-2 hours.
