A member asked:

Have there been any recent outbreaks of asthma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Confusing question: Asthma is a genetically related disturbance of the respiratory tract with many aggravating factors. You do not have outbreaks of asthma, like you would the measles as it is not contagious. You can have environmental conditions that can cause those that have it to become more symptomatic. These occur year round and every year.
