No: I assume your lung function is close to normal. The altitude itself will not trigger asthma, cold air might. People with severe Asthma, COPD and/or Emphysema who have marginal breathing capacity at baseline may experience marked shortness of breath and reduced exercise capacity as the air gets thinner.
