Starch Based Diet: With a BMI right around 27, you are overweight, but not obese. Lowering the calorie density of the food you eat is the easiest way to lose weight. I suggest a starch based diet that limits oils and animal products with calories coming from beans, peas, lentils, sweet potatoes and corn along with fruits and vegetables for nutrition. I lost 20 kilos doing this.
