Be honest: If you smoke and drink, you need to be honest and tell the Doctor, so they have the most accurate information to help you. There are blood tests to check for alcohol or tobacco use, but are not generally done as part of normal physical exam, unless concern is raised. As stated, honesty is always the best policy, and you obviously know this behavior is not good, especially at 16yo. Be well.

YES He can but why?: Your doctor can find out by doing Blood and/or urine test But why does he/she has to do that.He can get that history by asking you the question if you smoke or drink alcohol.Be frank and true to your healthcare provider and never hide it as it is always in confidence. But at age of 16 you should not drink alcohol and don't smoke please And always tell the truth
