You need support to: get better. Please see your family doc for starters, then a mental health professional. If you can't find one of them, seek out a prudent spiritual leader if that is comfortable for you. Your bf means well but this is much more than a choice to pull yourself together and he needs to understand that. Peace and good health. Whatever the cause, it's not worth it to think the way you do.

Depression: You may be depressed BUT - this is not something that can be diagnosed on-line with the available information. You owe it to yourself to have a comprehensive assessment. You can start with your physician, a psychiatrist or a psychologist. Please do get professional help.
