7-14 days.: Should be within a week or two. The color will change over time. Eventually disappear. There are other tthings that can mimic purpura . if it persists, see an oral surgeon.

2-3 weeks: Oral purpura may develop as a consequence of trauma and last 2-3 weeks. If concerned, see your dentist for evaluation.
