Pap Smear: it is not unusual to have a small amount of bleeding after a Pap smear. Sometimes the cervix bleeds a little when it is brushed or scraped. This is usually apparent when the pap is done. I usually tell my patients at the time to expect a little spotting. If it is persistent or becomes like a period then you need to contact your doctor. Hymen was not broken.
