No: IIt is normal and common to have some pelvic cramping soon after you have a Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD inserted. However, it is not normal to have the pain you describe, but it may not be due to the Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD, especially since your pain is higher up than your uterus. See your clinician for an evaluation.
