They may give you advice on how to proceed to optimize everyone's safety. Most municipalities have a Domestic Abuse/Violence Hotline that can also provide ideas.

Dad: Spend more time with the social worker & let her know what your concerns are if your Dad did not receive the care he needs. Talk to a doctor if you need to.
