Fibroids will shrink: The fibroids will shrink over time if you do not use hormones. Menopause is forever but the symptoms are variable. A healthy lifestyle will help reduce bloating and weight gain.

Possibly: some fibroids will decrease a bit in menopause because they are estrogen dependent, however some will not. Weight gain is not necessarily associated with menopause as much as it is associated with aging and decreased metabolic rate. The time frame of menopausal symptoms varies tremendously and there is no way to predict it for an individual
