after i wake up either from a nap or a full nights rest if i try to eat or yawn my jaw hurts! what could this be?

Bruxism & fatigue: You are probably grinding your teeth while you sleep. Ask your dentist to make you a soft night gaurd and try it for a week. Ibuprofen helps as well! 800mg before you sleep should relieve some of the inflammation! Hope this helps!
