Insomnia is common: It is normal actually, one of the most common side effects of Zoloft (sertraline) is insomnia / wakefulness. I'm not sure what your dosage is but if you have trouble sleeping maybe you should take it earlier in the day. If you aren't liking this side effect be sure to let your doctor know.

Zoloft (sertraline): I understand your discomfort . Zoloft is a medication for treatment of depression. Depending upon the dose and your response to the medication, you may have side effects including feeling hyper and jittery.. At age 27, unresolved emotional conflicts, stressors of relationships, work and finances can cause depression. See your Psychiatrist for diagnosis, need for medication, and Psychotherapy.
