Insomnia is common: It is normal actually, one of the most common side effects of Zoloft (sertraline) is insomnia / wakefulness. I'm not sure what your dosage is but if you have trouble sleeping maybe you should take it earlier in the day. If you aren't liking this side effect be sure to let your doctor know.

At age 27, unresolved emotional conflicts, stressors of relationships, work and finances can cause depression. See your Psychiatrist for diagnosis, need for medication, and Psychotherapy.
