Talk to your doctor : When the SSRI's are initiated, sometimes they trigger a worsening of anxiety symptoms due to stimulation. Over a period of a few weeks, the anxiety improves due to the action of the medication on the brain's neurotransmitter systems (serotonin enhancement).
