A member asked:

Started with stuffy nose at 20 weeks pregnant, will the stuffy nose go away after birth? if so how long after giving birth can u notice your sinus cle

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes...: Nasal and sinus congestion during pregnancy is very common and is due to the dilation, or opening up, of your blood vessels which naturally occur with pregnancy. When vessels in your nose dilate, the tissues swell and it feels "stuffy." BUT, decongestants are potentially dangerous because they work by constricting the vessels, which could hurt the baby. It will get better very soon after delivery.
