YES: Your pain is temporarily gone, but it will return , as the infection remains. See your Endodontist (root canal specialist) for treatment. Professional help is needed. Make the appointment ASAP and get this definitively treated. Good Luck.

Possible abscess: Usually a fistula indicates an infection that is draining. The infection can either be from around the tooth (periodontal) or from the inside of the tooth ( endodontic). Is the tooth mobile? Is it broken or discolored? You should be concerned in that the tooth may need a root canal or be cracked or split or it could be due to periodontal disease or bone loss. You should see your dentist.

Absolutely: Just because you feel fine does not mean the problem has resolved. Really can't tell what is amiss with that tooth, but by seeing a local dentist you can determine the problem and have it treated. Unresolved dental issues only come back again and again.

Yes, you should: The fistula is a sign that there is an infection and your body is draining it out through the pimple. Unlike some other types of infection, a dental abscess will not get better on its own. See your dentist for definitive diagnosis and treatment. Good luck.

Absolutely: You have either a bone/gum infection or a tooth/bone/gum infection that opened and drained, but did not cure the infection itself. Absence of pain just means that there is no pressure, not that the infection is no longer active. Please see Dentist immediately. You need immediate treatment. Failure to do so will permit the infection to spread through your blood stream to other organ systems.
