Dry eyes!: most likely due to dry eyes, the outdoor environment drys the eyes out and natural response (reflex mechanism) is to make an abundance of tears. This overwhelms the natural tear drainage dysyem and causes the tears to run down your cheeks, easpecially when closing the eyes, because the tears are all brought together in one small space by the eyelid closure.
