There are medicine called serotonin agonist like imitrex that can be used to abort the headache. If you get them often we also use beta blockers like propranolol to prevent headaches. For the more severe ones botox injections have been successful. There are also newer medicine like Amivog. A headache speciaist can evaluate you and see what works best for you.

You need to see a qualified neurologist who specializes in migraine treatment to help with your issue here. There are many medications out there that can assist you in relieving your pain and symptoms.

Agree with my colleagues. Avoid analgesics scrupulously, as pain meds can worsen the frequency, and at this time you seem to have "chronic daily migraines". Do suggest you find a neurologist who is focused on headaches, and would attempt to break up pattern using CGRP items. Triggers abound, and obtain a food list, from your physician. This can be improved, so find the right approach.

Migraines are treatable and even preventable with proper treatment. Seeing a neurologist is a good starting point. No one should suffer headaches or other symptoms needlessly
