What could cause eyelid swelling in the inner corner of just one eye?its been 1 and a half week now. its not very swollen but i can tell the difference between the both eyes.was painful at the start, doc give me drops to use. not sure about the cause?

This is probably a chalazion an inflammation of a meibomian gland of the eyelid. Warm compresses will also help.This is a benign lesion. If it persists see an ophthalmologist.
