Cdiff infection 2/23-3/10 . then again positive since 3/25. i dont feel ill. had flagyl and vancomycin. why is it still here? i must return to work.

Yes: Higher dose of oral vanco 500 mg 4 times per day for 2 weeks then taper slowly over 6 weeks..other option is fodaximycin ( expensive new drug) thee option if those failed and u get another recurrence then stool transplant .. Simple advise to avoid recurrence ; don't take antibiotics for cold or Ito that is not even symptomatic .. I mean take the antibiotics only if really needed
