Hi! i have a red, sore spot on the tip of my nose - how do i know if it's an infection? i don't have a fever.

Inflammation: Typically a site of irritation may cause inflammation where the site becomes red and sore. If it gets worse, it can become infected where there maybe additional swelling, the site around it becomes warm to the touch, and you may develop a fever.
