A member asked:

I'm really proactive about my health and i saw this device smartheart that provides a hospital-level ekg. would you recommend it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Here's what the Smart Heart website says: "The use of Smartheart is not a substitute for medical care. If you think you have a medical emergency please call 911" The device costs $1,000! So that you can record normal tracings! (if you're having a heart attack or think you are, you should be on your way to the ER! If you have chest pain and Smartheart says you're normal, do just ignore the pain?)
