How to best avoid foot pain with hallucinating valgus?

Bunion: think you mean hallux valgus. depends where pain is, could be from sesamoids, big toe joint, crowding of second toe, bunion itself, or shoe wear...perhaps all of the above. don't know your age or other history but if no contraindications to surgery, see foot surgeon to discuss removing bunion and correcting valgus toe...if all goes well should address all problems I mentioned above.
