What is your opinion on cytoxan (cyclophosphamide) for treatment of scleritis?

It depends on why.: Scleritis is inflammation of the white of your eye. It can be associated with other autoimmune conditions. It is usually treated with mild anti-inflammatory medications. For severe scleritis, Cytoxan (cyclophosphamide) might be used. This is a strong immune-suppressing drug that is also a type of chemotherapy. I notice you take methotrexate, which is similar to Cytoxan (cyclophosphamide). Ask your doctor about taking both.
