I had 5 chemo treatments of taxotere (docetaxel) 145 mg and 965 mg of cytoxan. How long does it stay in your system?

Half lives: The half life of taxotere (docetaxel) is about 11-16 hours. The half life of Cytoxan is 12-15 hours. So essentially both out of your system in 24-36 hours. Hope this helps.

4 is standard: There is an ongoing trial of 4 vs 6. My suspicion is there will be no difference, however, until the data is out 4 is the standard. Hope this helps.
