PTSD?: What you are describing are possible symptoms of a trauma disorder. Was there a trauma in the past in which weapons may have been involved?

Sounds like: something on the anxiety spectrum--Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic or PTSD. But, there could be physical conditions that cause this (glandular disorders, hormone changes, side-effects from medications), that should first be evaluated by an MD. If this turns out to be psychological only, see a psychologist.
