Topical lotion/cream: The back is a large surface area to treat. There are lotions and foams that can be applied that include benzoyl peroxide and Retin-A. If the acne is more significant, sometimes an oral antibiotic like minocin (minocycline) can help. Treatments take 6-8 weeks to show significant improvement. Duac and epiduo are examples of topical creams.
