2 x 2 inches: This cyst is very small and probably not the source of your pain. Either make an appointment with a MD or if the pain is very severe go to the ER.

A cyst: that size could potentially be symptomatic. Particularly if you are post menopausal, the cyst will likely need follow up. Your current pain may or may not be related to the cyst. If the pain is severe, go to the ER for evaluation
