Yes: Most simple ovarian cysts will go away on their own but it can take a month or two. If you are in severe pain, it needs to be evaluated to make sure you don't have an ovarian torsion. This is where the ovary twists off its own blood supply. To get rid of the pain, your doctor may remove it surgically. Best wishes!
