Feel like i have a hair in the back of my throat. went to er had xray and it showed nothing?

Throat sensation: Did the ER offer anything else? Was there a comment on how your throat appears on exam? I think an Xray would have low probability of identifying the underlying problem with this description. Knowing more about the timing of the problem and your history will help a physician to offer potentially more helpful advice. A thought: postnasal drip or GERD can cause persistent scratchy throat.
