I have been having shoulder and middle back pain, arm and head tingling for a month. neck mri was negative. doctors refuse to have a thoracic x-ray done. they say is muscular. i'm scared. what to do?

Trust instinct: It is unlikely that the thoracic xray would provide additional information. The key is a good physical exam by qualified neurologist, pain specialist or physical medicine/rehab specialist. If treatment for an entrapment syndrome targeting tight muscles is successful, then they are right. Be vigilant, you are in charge!
