May be: If you have come in Physical contact with him, or if you share the same household with him, if you have shared Linens, clothes, furniture , utensil etc with him and if you are having any unusual itching or skin rashes, you may want to get examined and be treated. Otherwise by casual contact one does not get scabies. Hand washing, cleaning clothes & linens in very hot water & soap is advisable
