Yes with: routine mri for ms includes contrast to see active plaques but if the mri with no dye was normal you likely don't have ms

Comments: Negative brain MRI is very much against MS, but if concerns persist, a cervical MRI should be sought. Lack of contrast may be minor issue, as this would highlight newer lesions, but not miss older lesions. Chance, so far, of MS is very low, but to be complete, if symptoms are compelling, repeat images at 6 months.
