Minimlal risk: There is increased risk of blood clots with many advanced cancers. if your cancer has been removed, then there is little if any risk. if it is active and metastatic, there may be small risk, which can be prevented by remaining active get up from your seat and (move around in the plane once/twice every hour and take one aspirin on the day of the travel to provide extra safety.

Somewhat: Cancer increases anyone's risk of getting a deep vein thrombosis/DVT (blood clot). When travelling by plane it is helpful to wear compression stockings, get up and walk around/don't sit for prolonged periods. However, this is not a guarantee for prevention, but having a cancer should not dissuade you from travel and enjoying yourself.
