I would see a pcp: Definitely I can see why you would come here. But it would be weird to develop bruises on the surface. I am thinking that in the absence of trauma it is weird for you to experience this. You are right to think that it may be a clot that caused the pain. I am thinking that it may be something that you need follow up for. I do wish that I could give you an answer. But I'd follow up with my PCP
