A member asked:

Can any type of doctor diagnose rheumatoid arthritis, or is that something only a rheumatologist can do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rheumatoid Arthritis: Any general doctor can begin the process by ordering certain laboratory testing. If the blood work is suggestive of a rheumatological disorder than only a rheumatologist can accuratively confirm the diagnosis and offer treatment.
