Talk to your doctor : Your doctor may want to obtain an MRI of the brain. This shows more anatomic detail and your doctor can correlate this with your clinical exam. Avoid things known to be harmful to the brain such as alcohol and smoking and head injury. A thorough medical work up is indicated. Your doctor may also want to have you evaluated by a psychologist (neuropsych testing) for possible early dementia.
