Not with yogurt.: You should take vitamins after a meal. Many vitamins require the minerals in food to be used as cofactors to help activate the vitamins in order for them to work more effectively. The calcium and sugar in most commercial yogurt products do not help to improve vitamin absorption. It is best to take iron with vitamin C to improve iron absorption.
