Palpitations: Changes to, what's called, the intrathoracic pressure (pressure inside the chest cavity) can affect everything inside your chest (including the lungs, heart, trachea (wind pipe). The linings surrounding the heart and lungs can also be affected simultaneously, causing the same response. See your doctor for evaluation, to make sure there's nothing dangerous, as it's better to be safe.
