You have it treated: Doesn't matter how old you are, the toothache needs to be treated by a dentist. The longer you leave it, the more it hurts and the more expensive it is to treat.

Could be anything: Could be anything, age usually has no bearing on tooth pain unless you are a child teething. Best to have them see a dentist

Same as other ages: There is no real correlation between tooth pain and causes in 30's, 40's, 50's etc. It's not an age issue, it's a tooth\teeth issue. See a dentist to find out what is causing it and what needs to be done.

Meds. Dentist: Take OTC pain meds and make appointment to see your dentist. Most likely cause of pain is cavity first, gum disease second. You list as a topic tag "multi infarct dementia". If you've had multiple strokes, also the possibility of centrally mediated pain.

Tooth pain: Most common cause, but by far not the only cause, s infection (cavity). Please see a local Dentist for a thorough examination, imaging, and lab tests if necessary. The Dentist will then be able to pinpoint the cause of your pain and explain to you your treatment options. Be well.
