Not normal: You may have postnasal drips from hay fever and/or a sinus infection. Check with your doctor.

Anatomy: The oral cavity and the nasal cavity connect in the back of your throat. That's why you can breath through your mouth or your nose. If you have a lot of mucus check with your primary care physician who may want you to see an ear/nose/throat specialist.
